The 2005 Schedule Announced
The Wolves will have a tough time repeating as Undefeated Brooklyn II
Champs with their 2005 schedule.
Among the their opponents are two
5 rated teams- Canarsie and Lincoln, four former 5 rated teams- Columbus,
New Dorp, L.I.C., and Erasmus, and three very competitive 3 rated
teams- Evander, Washington, and Boys and Girls.
In addition, 5 of the 9 games are on the road with the Wolves having
to travel to Staten Island, the Bronx, and Washington Heights.
“This is a very competitive schedule.” said Head Coach Ed
Gazzillo. “We are up for the challenge and are ready to compete
with the finest teams in the city.”

Coach McKenna |
Coach Lightfoot |
The Wolves will be taking on a new look on offense and defense. Assistant
Coach Kyle McKenna is taking over as Offensive Coordinator and Assistant
Coach Mike Lightfoot is taking over the defense.
“They are two experienced, hard working coaches who will live
up to the challenge.” said Gazzillo. “I have all the confidence
in the world that they (McKenna and Lightfoot) will do an outstanding
job for the team.”
However, Gazzillo does admit that the upcoming season will be learning
experience due to the combination of the inexperience of the returning
players and coaches in new positions.
The Wolves have their work cut
out for them but seem very confident that they will continue to grow
in the right direction.
