football RecognitionsThis past weekend marked the halfway point of the
eight-game PSAL football regular season. The best teams and players have
established themselves. Let’s
take a moment to recognize them and their accomplishments.Surprise
Team
Grand Street Campus (5-0)
is considered “very competitive” in the PSAL power rankings,
but this second-year varsity program has a highly competitive attitude.
Senior two-way players Javon Sistrunk and Jamaul Williams and quarterback
John Medici have led the Wolves to the top in the Brooklyn Two. If
we were picking a Top Coach, Ed Gazzillo would be a terrific choice.
