Coach Zarcone has just finished his second year of football coaching. As a second year coach, John had an immediate impact on the players of the J.V. team that lead to the huge improvement from last season.

John has many years of football playing experience, he has been an outstanding player from Pop Warner to college. Coach Zarcone provides our student athletes with a plethora of information.

Zarcone is also Grand Street Campus' Wrestling coach. A program that he started in 2004. As a first year program John lead his team to a near perfect record of 9-1. Many of his wrestlers placed very high in various tournaments throughout the city, state, and country. Coach Gazzillo looks forward to the exchange of football players and wrestlers to benefit each of the programs.

“John Zarcone is a bright young coach on the rise and he deserves an opportunity to continue to grow in responsibility,” head coach Ed Gazzillo said. “I know that any football player who wants to wrestle will be in good hands and well coached."

Coach Zarcone resides in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
